Zed Head is one of the hottest kickass-blues, Southern rock acts on the circuit today. They have headlined festivals, concerts, and biker rallies in California, Texas, Louisiana, Florida and across Canada. Nominated by France’s Bands of Dixie for “Band of the Year,” they are in excellent company with co-nominated bands such as, The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Molly Hatchett and Point Blank.
The musical media have enthusiastically embraced Zed Head on the strength of their two recent, ultra hot, CDs Mortal Man and Valley of Fire. Zed Head’s original recorded work, captured on disc by the legendary Terry Brown and Paul Lachapelle, and mixed by the discriminating Peter J. Moore at The E Room in Toronto, is a catalogue of rocking, blues-boogie, Southern classic style music at its best. BUT…don’t miss a live performance of this great band. They are a truly exciting, entertaining act.

Zed Head is comprised of the world-class, rockin’ blues guitarist and vocalist NEIL “THE BIG E” CHAPMAN and JOHN “THE FOGMAN” BURKITT. Burkitt is absolutely dynamic on his ripping EB3 bass and vocals. On a genuinely scintillating blues harp, Zed Head features LeRoy ” Bluesdog” Falconi. The rhythm section of Zed Head is driven by the inventive, rock steady chops of highly regarded veteran drummer Rui Balla. People from all over North America are buzzing about Zed Head’s incredible live performances.
Reviewers and critics from around the globe agree that Zed Head’s sound is where Johnny Winter meets Stevie Ray Vaughan…and ZZ Top runs into Lynyrd Skynyrd.
ZED HEAD is a featured musical component on radio outlets and television productions such as OUTLAW BIKERS and BIKER T.V. They are seen (and heard) on The History Channel, National Geographic and Global Television channels.
